If you feel your iPhone doesn't hold its battery charge as well as it should, and the battery capacity is low, then it may be time for a new battery. As your device gets older, the battery will lose some of its capacity, so the percentage will start to drop to numbers in the 90s, 80s, or lower. The first section displays the maximum capacity of your battery relative to when it was brand new. Near the top of the screen, tap the setting for Battery Health. On an iPhone, you can next check the overall health of your battery.
